Our Story

What we do?

The LEAP OF FAITH TRUST was established in 2008 out of compassion for HIV and AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children. It was during a time when the HIV/AIDS pandemic was wreaking havoc in southern African communities. Having lived a personal experience with an adopted HIV positive cousin following the death of an aunt to AIDS, the founder became conscious to the plight of HIV orphans. 

 

The founders, Roy and Quinton, starting by making donations to orphanages with the help of solicited from church communities. The outreach intensified following support from the Austrian Ambassador to Zimbabwe.  

 

We have managed to bring smiles to hundreds of children’s faces over the years. We would like to continue on making an impact with your support and involvement. 

We believe that communities should have the support and resources to ensure that children are protected and provided for to enable them to grow and develop free of hunger and with access to education and basic healthcare.
LEAP OF FAITH TRUST’s aims to empower orphans and other vulnerable children through psycho-social and socio-economic support, enhancing their opportunities and capabilities to achieve economic and sustainable development.
